| ENGAGE FUTURE LEADERS |
Since the creation of the Singtel Group Undergraduate Scholarship in FY2009, 16 promising students have been awarded
full scholarships at top universities. Academic disciplines have varied and the programme has spread from Thailand to the
Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore.
In FY2012 there were five scholarships awarded: four in the Philippines and one in Thailand. Three book prizes were also
awarded in Singapore.
In addition to the significant financial support, scholars also enjoy mentoring and internship opportunities at the Singtel Group
of companies both locally and overseas. In the next financial year, we look forward to welcoming our first overseas internship
programme with our AIS scholars, our first local internship programme with our Singtel scholars, and the first group of scholars
into the Group as part of our talent pool. |
