| SUPPORT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT |
Singtel has a rich history in Singapore with more than 130 years of heritage. Throughout that time we have played an integral role in nation-building,
supporting the development of Singapore as a major business centre and communications hub in the Asia Pacific region. We have
always been part of the Singapore community and intend to continue to participate actively in its long-term development.
Singtel’s community investment in FY2012 was S$4.2 million, which included a range of activities and programmes to support our local and
regional communities, such as through providing direct financial support, giving our time and raising awareness of important issues.
Our continued support of Community Chest’s programmes was acknowledged on many occasions. Last year, we received the Community Chest
Gold Share (Social Help and Assistance Raised by Employees) Award, 10-year Outstanding Corporate Award and a Special Events Platinum
Award. WWF, the organisation behind Earth Hour, also recognised our efforts by awarding us Best Staff Engagement Initiative in Singapore for
our environmental campaign Project LESS. |

| Singtel Touching Lives Fund |
The Singtel Touching Lives Fund (STLF) celebrated its tenth anniversary and raised a record $2.6 million.
STLF is Singtel’s corporate philanthropy programme in Singapore and focuses on supporting charities that offer specialised education and
support for children and young people with special needs. They include special education for the intellectually or physically challenged, and programmes that help young people with learning difficulties
or who come from a difficult home environment. There were six chosen charities for our anniversary year: |
